Electoral literacy club of Shree Shantadurga Higher Secondary School Bicholim conducted voter awareness game known as Mat-disha in respect of awareness of enrolment procedures into the Electoral Roll and ethical voting. Shri Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar of Bicholim Taluka and AERO of 03 Bicholim Assembly constituency delivered the welcome address and gave a talk on ethical voting to the students. The mat-disha awareness game devised by Smt Isha Sawant SVEEP Nodal officer Goa was played by the students. Mat-disha is a unique game wherein the information in respect of ethical voting and procedures in respect of enrolment into the Electoral Roll is disseminated to new voters. The game master was smt Isha Sawant SVEEP Nodal officer Goa. The principal of shree shantadurga Higher Secondary Bicholim , shri Taha Hajik Goa Civil Service Officer, shri Eshant Sawant Mamlatdar in Collectorate South, shri Anil Rane Sardesai Joint Mamlatdar Bicholim and Smt Apurva Karpe Joint Mamlatdar Bicholim were also present for the said Taluka level function.

Shri Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar of Bicholim Taluka and AERO of 03 Bicholim Assembly constituency conducted an innovative awareness programme for senior citizens and person with disabilities .During this awareness programme, demonstration videos of EVM and VVPAT were beamed inorder to familiarise the senior citizens and PWDs about the usage of EVM and VVPAT .Shri Pravinjay Pandit also informed the PWDs/ senior citizens that EVM and VVPAT manufactured by ECIL cannot be hacked and thus the credibility of EVM/VVPAT cannot be challenged.

A special awareness programme was conducted by Shri Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar of Bicholim and AERO of 03 Bicholim Assembly constituency on 22.2.2019 at Dyanprasarak Mandal Higher Secondary School Mulgao Bicholim on the theme Chunavpathshala BLO convener inorder to disseminate the information in respect of the special camp to be conducted on 23.2.2019 and 24.2.2019.shri Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar of Bicholim enlightened the electors/ students about the special camp to be conducted on 23.2.2019 and 24.2.2019 at Bicholim Assembly Constituency wherein the booth level Officers will be present at their respective polling station to collect the forms for inclusion of name in the Electoral roll of the left out electors , correction of particulars in electoral Roll etc. Shri Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar of Bicholim enlightened the students/ electoral literacy club members that special camp will be conducted by Booth Level Officers alongwith chunavpathshala members on 23.2.19 and 24.2.19 all over the State of Goa and the said special camps are conducted to include the names of electors who are unenrolled and also to tag/ identify the persons with disabilities inorder to provide facilities to person with disabilities during election and also conduct awareness programmes for person with disabilities. The booth level Officers also appealed to the electors/students/electoral literacy club members to spread awareness of the special camp so that people can enroll themselves into the Electoral Roll. Shri Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar informed that chunavpathshala are conducted at each polling station level wherein the Booth level officer is the convener and this chunavpathshala will help to disseminate the information of enrolment and ethical voting to people who are left out of formal education system. Shri Pravinjay Pandit also conducted a quiz contest on the theme Chunavpathshala and election procedures wherein questionnaire framed by the Mamlatdar were distributed to the students who were required to answer them by choosing the appropriate option.The prizes were declared to top three students of the objective type quiz contest by Shri Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar of Bicholim and AERO of 03 Bicholim Assembly constituency .This special programme received good response from the students who will disseminate the information in respect of special camp fixed on 23.2.19 and 24.2.19 to achieve maximum number of forms from unenroled electors .

This campaign has created awareness among the general public about the details of their respective Blos and also requirements to submit the forms for enrolment into the Electoral Roll,deletion of name, correction of particulars in the Electoral Roll and shifting etc.This friendly campaign has developed a bond between the Blos and voters and also has disseminated information to the general public about online submission of forms through NVSP.in .

The AERO briefed the senior citizens about the requirements of documents for submission of forms for enrolment into the Electoral Roll, correction of particulars, deletion and shifting etc. The AERO also briefed them about online submission of forms through NVSP.in. The senior citizens were really happy to see the AERO interacting with them in a friendly manner.

Pradeep Marathe and Booth Level Officers of Bicholim took part in the function. The unique quality of the said awareness programme was a folk dance Fugdi on the Ethical voting and SSR 2019 which was peformed during the function by the team of 03-Bicholim A.C.
The AERO Shri. Pravinjay Pandit addressed the general public and explained the importance of ethical voting, enrollment of voters and submission of forms for enrolment online through NVSP.in.
