  2. National Voters' Day 2019 Updated

    Photographs from the 9th National Voters’ Day (NVD) celebrations at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi on 25th January 2019. The theme for this year's NVD was ‘No Voter to be Left Behind’ reiterating the commitment of Election Commission of India ( ECI ) in view of the Lok Sabha elections due this year.

  3. Workshop for Radio Jockeys on Voter Awareness Updated

    ECI organized a workshop for Radio Jockeys (RJs) of leading FM channels including All India Radio and various private FM channels on 21st January in New Delhi. Total 19 Radio jockeys from major FM channels viz. Big FM, Red FM, Fever 104 FM, Radio Nasha, Ishq FM and Radio City attended 2 hours interactive session, where they participated in activities for dissemination of voter education.

SVEEPSystematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) is a programme of multi interventions through different modes and media designed to educate citizens, electors and voters about the electoral process in order to increase their awareness and participation in the electoral processes. SVEEP is designed according to the socio-economic, cultural and demographic profile of the state as well as the history of electoral participation in previous rounds of elections and learning thereof.
