Closing ceremony of the State wide two days free football/registration camp for young voters cum exhibition match

The two-day free football/registration camp-cum-exhibition match spanning 3 months, 13 districts of Nagaland culminated on November 10, 2023 at IG Stadium Kohima. The closing ceremony hosted by the Office of the CEO Nagaland and District Election Office Kohima in collaboration with Nagaland Sports Association also featured exhibition matches between CEO Office and DEO Office, Kohima. -

State wide two days free football/registration camp for young voters cum exhibition match

3rd phase of the two days free football camp cum exhibition match was held in Zunheboto, Wokha, Pughoboto and Kohima Districts. The camp is organized by the office of the CEO Nagaland in collaboration with Nagaland Sports Association and District administration as part of the State SVEEP initiative to target first time voters and to increase registration of voters in the age bracket of 18 - 20 years. Mr. Aningu Pienyü, State SVEEP Icon who is a prominent football player in the State and a AIFF licensed coach is also part of the visiting/coaching team. Along with the sports camp, facilitation centre & help desk are also set up during the camp to help facilitate registration of eligible citizens, correction of entry and collection of advance applications.2nd phase of the two days free football camp cum exhibition match was held in Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Phek, Tseminyu and Tuensang Districts. The camp is organized by the office of the CEO Nagaland in collaboration with Nagaland Sports Association and District administration as part of the State SVEEP initiative to target first time voters and to increase registration of voters in the age bracket of 18 - 20 years.
