  6. A blood donation camp was organized at Sagardighi Development Block by BDO Sagardighi on 3rd February, 2021 with newly enrolled electors. 30 nos. of newly enrolled electors donated blood at this camp.
  7. The National Voters’ Day is observed on January 25th every year to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India in 1950. This day is meant to encourage, facilitate and maximize enrollment of new voters. On this occasion of 11th NVD, Hon’ble District Election Officer & District Magistrate, Murshidabad conveyed his respectful regards to all the voters of Murshidabad District. We are now beginning a new decade - full of Hope, Healing, Recovery and Faith. Election commission has always reiterated to ensure that Each and every vote counts and it has been our consistent endeavor to ensure that No Voter is Left Behind. This day reminds us of the rights and responsibilities of the voters. Accordingly, the theme for NVD 2021 is ‘Making Our voters Safe, Empowered, more Informed and, much more Vigilant’. Commission has taken up several new initiatives for the benefit of our stakeholders. E-EPIC has been launched today i.e. 25th January, 2021 for all our young, newly enrolled voters to make the process of electoral registration easier and digital. A special initiative has been introduced today to motivate young electors through Blood Donation Camp and 32 number of people have donated blood today.

    Celebration of NVD, 2021 in Murshidabad

    On the eve of National Voters' Day (25th January) Seat & Draw was organised by SVEEP Committee(District Election Section) at Collectorate Club, Berhampore. Theme " Accessible Election". From Entire Murshidabad District contestant of Class IX-XII Participated. Special Children from MAHARANI NILIMA PROBHA INSTITUTION of DEF & DUMB participated as well.

    Enrolment of Third Gender on 14-12-2020 Murshidabad

    A special camp has been organized for enrolment of the third gender elector by the District Election Officer, Murshidabad on 14.12.2020 at the Murshidabad Collectorate campus with the help of the following NGOs:- 1. Karna-Subarna Welfare Society, Karnasubarna, Murshidabad. 2. Madhya Banglar Sangram, Berhampore, Murshidabad.

    Plasma Donation Camp 14-12-2020 Murshidabad

    COVID 19 Plasma Donation Camp has been organized by District Election Officer , Murshidabad, West Bengal on 14.12.2020 at the office campus of District Magistrate, Murshidabad. 20 nos. of participant including ERO, Office Staff and Voters have donated Plasma on this day.
  12. A quiz contest on Electoral Literacy has been organized by the District Election Section, Murshidabd. 23 nos. of Team participated in this quiz competition. Team of Anisur Rahaman & Helal Khamaru stood 1st; Gopal Mondal & Anik Mondal stood 2nd and Prosenjit Ghosh & Anirban Ghosh stood 3rd.

    Blood Donation Camp 01-12-2020 Murshidabad

    A Blood donation camp has been organized by the District Administration in connection with Electoral Registration Campaign under SRER, 2021 on 01-12-2020 for celebration of World AIDS Day. 50 nos. of voluntary blood donors have donated blood at said occasion out of which 15 nos. of eligible elector.
