25.Jan.2025 : This year the State level 15th National Voters Day was commemorated in collaboration with the District Election Officer, Gangtok at Conference hall of DEO, Gangtok, The event witnessed a special message from the CEC, inspiring all to strengthen democratic values. The ten newly enrolled voters, representing various communities, were felicitated, symbolizing the essence of unity and inclusion. Additionally, six outstanding BLOs, one from each district, were recognized for their contributions. State Icons and District Icons were also felicitated for their role in promoting voter awareness and participation. A moment of pride was marked with a Special Award presented to Shri Shyam Pradhan, Joint Secretary, HQ Election Department, in recognition of his exceptional contributions and unwavering commitment to the Election Department throughout his illustrious career, Additionally, National Voters' Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm throughout the state.

On National Voters Day, January 25th, Honble President Smt Draupadi Murmu presented the Best Performing State Award to the Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand, K. Ravi Kumar, for conducting free, fair,peaceful election with higher voter turnout in the state.
