Date : 25.01.2024 - The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, graced the 14th National Voters Day at Chintan Bhawan . The event was organized by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Sikkim, unfolded under the theme, "Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure." During the event, the Hon’ble Governor administered the "NVD Pledge" and released videos of the ECI song "Mah Bharat Hoon" in regional languages. Additionally, he released appeal videos for the General Selection 2024 and videos for Sangha voters. The Hon’ble Governor felicitated icons, roll observers, Best BLOs, Special Awardees, and 15 new voters.
The cultural department added a patriotic touch to the celebration with performances of patriotic songs in Hindi and Nepali.
