Sanjay Kaul IAS, Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala, recently visited the Government Higher Secondary School, Vattavada, a designated polling station in the scenic Devikulam Assembly Constituency of Idukki district. This visit, part of a broader initiative to guarantee electoral excellence across Kerala, was aimed at closely inspecting the readiness and accessibility of the polling facilities, ensuring that every voter’s experience is smooth and inclusive. Accompanied by key senior officials, the CEO-Kerala’s visit underscores the significant efforts being made to prepare even the most remote areas like Vattavada for the democratic process. Nestled on the eastern side of Kerala, bordering Tamil Nadu, Vattavada is not just known for its breathtaking landscapes but also as an important part of the Idukki Lok Sabha constituency that plays a crucial role in shaping our democracy.
