State Level One-day workshop for sensitization on benchmark disabilities and identification of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in the State.

A one-day State level workshop for sensitization on benchmark disabilities and identification of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in the State was organized by Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland in partnership with Health & Family Welfare Department and Social Welfare Department on 31^st August, 2023 at Japfu hotel, Kohima.

The workshop was organized by the Office of the CEO Nagaland as part of the SVEEP initiative to address the issues and challenges faced in regard to identification and registration of PwDs in the electoral roll and sensitization of Benchmark disabilities in the State. The main purpose of the workshop was to provide a platform for the three Departments to come together to discuss these key issues and to collectively work towards inclusive and accessible elections.
