targetting public places Sant Singaji Mela

A survey programme regarding the low turnout in rural areas was initiated by DEO Khandwa. As a result, the finding remained that a sizeable majority of rural populace is unfamiliar about election devices i.e EVM,VVPAT etc. About 95% people showed their ignorance about NOTA . As a fact, the rural folk of the district is passionately attached with Sant Singaji and gather there in huge crowd to show their reverence to Him in this Mela. So, a plan to use Sant Singaji Mela to aware the village people about Ethical voting was prepared, Much To the success of programme as the display of EVM and VVPAT attracted the people in massive way . Approximately, 30000 Village people took an oath for Ethical voting at one poin.
