    Regional Outreach Bureau, Chandigarh, Ministry of information & Broadcasting, Govt. Of India , has organised a special photo exhibiton on 'Voter Awareness' under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme at the Under-bridge area , Plaza, Sector-17, Chandigarh. The objective of this exhibition is to bring awareness and to showcase various activities like Constitutional rights and duties of voter, VVPAT and EVM demonstration ; which is done through the Audio and Video representations. The event was inaugurated by Shri Ajoy Kumar Sinha, C.E.O ,U.T. Chandigarh. Also present during the event were Additional CEO, Joint CE.O. , Deputy C.E.O , Nodal Officer SVEEP and other officials

About Us

SVEEPSystematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) is a programme of multi interventions through different modes and media designed to educate citizens, electors and voters about the electoral process in order to increase their awareness and participation in the electoral processes. SVEEP is designed according to the socio-economic, cultural and demographic profile of the state as well as the history of electoral participation in previous rounds of elections and learning thereof.
