  1. 9th September 2018 Old Aerodrome, Kakching and Kakching Lamkhai Officer-In-Charge : Anjali Chongtham, SDO-Kakching/ERO, 36-Wabagai & 37-Kakching Participants : DEO/Thoubal, DC-Kakching, ERO Kakching, District SVEEP Nodal Officers, AEROs & Election staff (DeOs) Activities A SVEEP Campaign was conducted at the Old Aerodrome, Kakching on 9th September, 2018 with SDO-Kakching/ERO, 36-Wabgai & 37-Kakching under District Election Officer, Thoubal being a part of SVEEP Campaign in connection with Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls, 2019 with respect to 01-01-2019 as the qualifying date. The Campaign was organized seeing the gathering of World War II Memorial/Run. Above 1000 visitors including more than 400 youths (Cultural Dance Groups, Martial Arts Groups, Hr. Sec and College student were visited the Election Stall opened at the specific ground. Forms, T-shirts, Caps and sweets were distributed during the awareness campaign. Correction at e-roll. etc. Comments of Officer i/c Promoting greater awareness to the general public along with young youth for enrollment during SSR, 2019 and to cast votes during the ensuing Lok Sabha Election, 2019.

    Street Art Competition, Manipur

    INTRODUCTION The Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur organized a Street Art Competition as a part of its SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) campaign on 22 September 2018. The competition on the theme of “Democracy Rocks” was the first ever street art competition in the state and was held on the outer wall of the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, opposite Nagaram, Imphal. The competition was aimed at creating awareness about the necessity to participate in the democratic process of elections at the larger context while also highlighting the on-going Special Summary Revision to encourage young prospective voters to enroll before 31 October 2018 for upcoming elections.
