തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ ചരിത്രവും മുന്നേറ്റങ്ങളും മാറ്റങ്ങളുമെല്ലാമായി ജില്ലാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ വോട്ട് പ്രചാരണം ഊര്ജ്ജിതമായി. സ്ഥാനാര്ത്ഥികളുടെ പ്രചാരണത്തിന് മുന്നെ തന്നെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രക്രിയയില് വോട്ടു ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്റെ പ്രധാന്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചാണ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വിഭാഗം അവബോധം നല്കുന്നത്. സ്വീപ്, നെഹ്റു യുവകേന്ദ്ര എന്നിവയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെയാണ് ജില്ലയിലെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ബോധവത്കരണ പ്രചാരണം. ലോക്‌സഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില് യുവാക്കളുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താന് കലാലയങ്ങള് കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചും വേറിട്ട ബോധവത്കരണ പരിപാടികളാണ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വിഭാഗം ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്തത്. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ ചരിത്രം മുതല് ആസന്നമായ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ വിശേഷങ്ങള് ലൈവ് പ്രശ്‌നോത്തിരിയിലൂടെയും അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. യുവതലമുറകള് ആവേശത്തോടെ ക്യാമ്പസിലേക്ക് പ്രചാരണവിഭാഗത്തെയും വരവേല്ക്കുന്നു. സുല്ത്താന് ബത്തേരി സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ആര്ട്സ് ആന്ഡ് സയന്സ് കോളേജില് നടന്ന ബോധവത്ക്കരണ ക്ലാസും ക്വിസ് മത്സരവും പങ്കാളിത്തം കൊണ്ടും ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി. യുവതലമുറയില് വോട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം എത്തിക്കുകയാണ് പരിപാടിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം. സബ് കളക്ടര് മിസല് സാഗര് ഭരത് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ആര്ട്സ് ആന്ഡ് സയന്സ് കോളേജ് പ്രിന്സിപ്പല് ഡോ. പി സി റോയ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. സ്വീപ് നോഡല് ഓഫീസര് പി.യു സിത്താര മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. സുല്ത്താന് ബത്തേരി തഹസില്ദാര് യു.എസ് ജ്യോതിലക്ഷ്മി, സെന്റ് മേരീസ് കോളേജ് ഐ.ക്യു.എ.സി കോ-ഓഡിനേറ്റര് എ.ആര്. വിജയകുമാര്, സ്വീപ്പ് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് ഹാരിസ് നെന്മേനി, സെന്റ് മേരീസ് കോളേജ് സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് അംബാസിഡര് ഐറിന് മേരി, സ്വീപ് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് എസ് .മുഹമ്മദ് ഫൈസല്, എന്നിവര് സംസാരിച്ചു. ഇലക്ട്രല് ലിറ്ററസി ക്ലബ്ബ് ജില്ലാ കോഡിനേറ്റര് എസ്. രാജേഷ്‌കുമാര് പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചൊല്ലിക്കൊടുത്തു. നവകേരള മിഷന് ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് കോര്ഡിനേറ്റര് സുരേഷ് ബാബു ക്വിസ് മത്സരത്തിന് നേതൃത്വം നല്കി. എന്.എം അബിന്, എം ബി ബിവില് എന്നിവര് ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനവും എം.നന്ദന, ദേവിക രമേശ് എന്നിവര് രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനവും എസ്.എം മുഹമ്മദ് മുനീര്, ഇ.അമല്, ജോയല് യോഹന്നാന്, ബഹീജ് അംജദ് എന്നിവര് മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനവും നേടി. ആദിവാസി കോളനികള് തുടങ്ങി വിവിധയിടങ്ങളില് വരും ദിവസങ്ങളില് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ബോധവത്കരണ പ്രചാരണവിഭാഗം വേറിട്ട പരിപാടികളുമായി എത്തും.
