The Voter Awareness Campaign by SVEEP Kozhikode, Suchitwa Mission, and Varamukhi Art Commune has successfully concluded. This unique collaboration brought together creativity and democracy, highlighting the importance of each vote through the universal language of art. A vibrant reminder of the democratic rights and duties was beautifully showcased, inspiring the community of Kozhikode.

DRAFT ELECTORAL ROLL - SSR 2024 Updated
State-level release of the Draft Electoral Roll as part of the Special Summary Revision 2024 was held at Agali, in Attappadi, Palakkad. Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sharmila C. released the draft by handing over a copy of the roll to the District Election Officer Chithra IAS. The function was held at Agali EMS Community Hall and was attended by representatives of local self-government bodies, ELC students and by the tribal population. Tribal art forms were also presented after the release. Various art forms were staged at Palakkad Attappadi Agali EMS Community Hall where the state-level, release of the draft electoral roll was held as part of Special Summary Revision 2024. The audience welcomed the tribal art forms, the Tholpavakooth performed to create election awareness and the music & dance performances with applause. There was increased participation of tribal artists in art presentations.

Awareness Stall at 28th International Film Festival of Kerala Updated
The Election Commission's stall at the main venue, Tagore precinct, attracts attention to create awareness about the election process among the young voters arriving for the 28th International Film Festival of Kerala. A Selfie contest was also organized for youths. Delegates of the festival arrive in large numbers at the stall where systems and processes including the voting machine are introduced to the visitors.

Polling Station Visit-, Vattavada Idukki District Updated
Sanjay Kaul IAS, Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala, recently visited the Government Higher Secondary School, Vattavada, a designated polling station in the scenic Devikulam Assembly Constituency of Idukki district. This visit, part of a broader initiative to guarantee electoral excellence across Kerala, was aimed at closely inspecting the readiness and accessibility of the polling facilities, ensuring that every voter’s experience is smooth and inclusive. Accompanied by key senior officials, the CEO -Kerala’s visit underscores the significant efforts being made to prepare even the most remote areas like Vattavada for the democratic process. Nestled on the eastern side of Kerala, bordering Tamil Nadu, Vattavada is not just known for its breathtaking landscapes but also as an important part of the Idukki Lok Sabha constituency that plays a crucial role in shaping our democracy.

PUTHUPPALLY BYE ELECTION 2023
As part of SVEEP activities, ELC students decorated the polling booths at Puthuppally St. George GVHSS, Thottaikkadu St. Thomas HS & the booth was managed by women Polling officers at Puthuppally Don Bosco School. As part of the UN's Millet Year, ELC members/NSS Volunteers/Anganwadi workers distributed ragi cookies, dry fruits & nuts as well as creches arranged at booths for kids. 10 Pink polling booths were also arranged.

PUTHUPPALLY BYPOLL 2023 Updated
Similar to the activities at Thrikkakara, various SVEEP activities were also conducted at Puthuppally for the byelection on September 5, 2023. The Kerala art form ‘Tholumadan’ embodying the message ‘do not waste your right to vote’ was performed as part of the SVEEP awareness campaign. Students from Electoral Literacy Clubs showcased lively and environmentally friendly booth decorations. Millet packs and SVEEP logo balloons were distributed for the kids coming to the polling booths and 10 pink polling booths were also organized as part of the activity. The booths set up at all 94 locations were child-friendly as they set up creches from Anganwadi

CEO Office-Kerala conducts the online Athapookkalam (Floral rangoli) competition 2023 for ELCs across the state from August 26, 6.00 AM to September 15, 6.00 PM.

In connection with the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Chief Electoral Officer - Kerala’s latest initiative, ‘Njan Vote Cheyyum, Urappayum’ (I Will Vote for Sure), was spearheaded by Sharmila C, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, this campaign made its debut at Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Activities like a themed selfie point and a lively flash mob was organised.These are efforts to motivate the youth, to participate in the democratic process.

വയനാട് ജില്ലയിലെ കോളേജ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി ഇലക്ഷൻ ക്വിസ് മത്സരം കളക്ടറേറ്റ് കോൺഫറൻസ് ഹാളിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. സ്വീപ് ( SVEEP ) ന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് പ്രോഗ്രാം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്.
17 ടീമുകൾ പങ്കെടുത്ത ക്വിസ് മത്സരത്തിൽ മീനങ്ങാടി സെൻ്റ് ഗ്രിഗേറിയസ് ടീച്ചേഴ്സ് ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളേജിലെ വി ആദർശ്, എ.എസ് അഭിരാം ശങ്കർ എന്നിവർ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം നേടി. ബത്തേരി സെൻ്റ് മേരീസ് കോളേജിലെ ഐറിൻ മേരി സജി, ജസീം എന്നിവർ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനവും പൂക്കോട് വെറ്ററിനറി സർവകലാശാലയിലെ കെ.യു ഹരികൃഷ്ണൻ, അനഘ റജി എന്നിവർ മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനവും കരസ്തമാക്കി. ജില്ലാ ലോ ഓഫീസർ ഫൈസൽ സി.കെ. ക്വിസ് മാസ്റ്റർ ആയിരുന്നു. എഡിഎം കെ. ദേവകി, ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി കളക്ടർമാരായ എൻ എം മെഹ്റലി, സി.മുഹമ്മദ് റഫീക്ക്, ഇ.അനിത കുമാരി, സ്വീപ്പ് നോഡൽ ഓഫീസർ പി.യു സിതാര എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.

Election awareness and voter registration campaigns were conducted by the Electoral Literacy Clubs of Providence and Farook Colleges, Kozhikode in association with NSS.
81 enrolled in Providence College and 65 enrolled in Farook College.
